“Never regret thy fall, O Icarus of the fearless flight For the greatest tragedy of all Is never to feel the burning light.” — indie ICARUS based on the myth — please read rules before interacting — ( art by sergey solomko & jmw turner )
He WAVES the other off like it was nothing ; Barty had always one to appreciate great works of art. But he’s hit with a wave of surprise when—even though he’d AVERTED his attention back to the rows of paintings in front of him—the other kept the conversation going. Gaze moves from the wall to the stranger who STILL seems to be talking, brows raising in interest.
❛ Is that so? Have you seen it yourself?❜
“The painting or the play? If you mean the painting, I’m afraid I didn’t have the chance to see it. I’ve heard it’s in a private collection.”
Trying yet failing to hide the slight bitterness about the ‘private’ part, he shrugs and gives the other a smile before continuing.
“The play, on the other hand, is splendid. I’d certainly recommend it. There are too few plays solely based on the artwork && the process.”
