“Never regret thy fall,
O Icarus of the fearless flight
For the greatest tragedy of all
Is never to feel the burning light.”

masquerading about in human-like guise is tiring, thor finds–it is much
more liberating to simply EXIST as he does, endless, timeless, old and
young, brother of the moon and the son of all earthly things.

he finds it is easy to be himself when he encounters this
one. though he is not of gods blood, thor can see the wax
stuck to his spine, the sea salt and heat rays.

he wonders who will speak first of their
parentage, the god, or the craftsmans son.

Paint covered shirt && sleeves with
coffee stains, a huge portfolio slung
over the artist’s shoulder, wide eyes
setting on the stranger with the long
blond hair. It was another day filled
with school, job, a little bit of chaos
and a little bit of peace. However as
he looked at the other, supposedly
just another person on his way back
home, he was struck with an uneasy
feeling. The memory of melted wax &&
the stench of burned crooked feathers
come as fast as they go, leaving him
          confused && unbalanced. Suddenly
hesitant every part of his existence,
Icarus replied, wonder of the unknown
          intriguing him.

                    “Hello. Do I
                    Do I know you?”
